It was impossible to go sightseeing in 4 famous places in Tokyo. I completely forgot that Tokyo is huge. We started from Kichijoji, Shin-okubo-Korean town, Harajuku, and Asakusa. When we arrived in Asakusa, the sun was slowly getting lower.
But there were still a lot of tourists in the spacious precinct of Sensoji-Temple, from where we could see the beautiful orangish sky. The locust's trill was solemn and seemed to reach the sky. The place was like a rare green oasis in a vast concrete jungle, Tokyo.
I wouldn't have come here if I had lived in Japan. We take some things for granted and notice their value only after losing them because they are always around us.
One of the reasons we wanted to visit Asakusa was to shop on Kappabashi Kitchen Street, which is famous for kitchenware. A thousand small retail stores stand side by side on the street.
Unfortunately, we were too late and couldn’t buy anything—most small shops close at 5 pm. I’ll definitely come back here.
